NEW private terminal at Changi Airport Terminal 2

ZARCH was appointed as the architect for a new private terminal and amenities cluster at Changi Airport Terminal 2, redefining the experience of premium air travel.

Located on the site of the former Commercially Important Persons (CIP) terminal, the project transforms the space into a refined travel, lifestyle, and wellness destination. Operated by Changi Airport Group (CAG) and Plaza Premium Group (PPG), the terminal is envisioned as a seamless extension of Changi Airport’s world-class passenger experience.

ZARCH’s design focuses on creating a calm, sophisticated environment where passengers can rest and recharge ahead of their journey. The spatial planning prioritises privacy, efficiency, and intuitive flow, enabling smooth transfers to boarding gates while maintaining convenient access to the airport’s retail offerings.

The terminal features a curated suite of premium amenities, including a deluxe lounge, bar, private suites, bespoke dining experiences, and a versatile, high-end event space designed to accommodate both intimate gatherings and larger entourages.

Through a careful balance of hospitality, functionality, and spatial clarity, the project reflects ZARCH’s approach to crafting elevated, user-centric environments within complex transport settings.
